Hey Guys - I saw a really cool car collection today.
I'll write a piece or two on some of these cars in the coming weeks.
I was actually there to see this car, since I am currently writing a book on the Superbird/Daytona project at Chrysler.
And in the meantime, if you haven't already, please check out this week's podcast. A few more listens and I break the 20,000-listens threshold.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Carry on.

Rough estimate on when the Superbird/Daytona book will be done? Also, will it have lots of pretty pictures?

Done as in the writing: A couple weeks. Done as in when someone can buy it - end of the year or so. I do what I do and the publisher does the rest.
Yes, pictures galore. LOTS of them. This book will actually have several hundred photos, which is one of the reasons I was out photographing this car today.

I've just about drooled all over my screen because of that T/A. So beautiful.

1970 with the 400. It was in IMMACULATE condition. My brother had a couple of them back in the late 1970s when they weren't terribly rare yet. Nowadays, you almost never see them. I've always loved them.

They also had this:
It is a very rare 1967 Shelby Mustang Convertible. Used to belong to Mr. Shelby himself.

Couldn't agree more. RRs are probably my favorite Mopars, specially in black steelies!

I assumed that was blown up there by the rumble of the big block.

Can't wait to get the 68 GTX rolling this summer. Been restoring it with my dad for a while now.

No, I know what it is. I just don't think I've ever seen anybody put a Daytona wing on a '71.

I have to admit , it was difficult. I had to fiberglass it. There is a bit of customizing going on. It does work and can be adjusted.
I like high wings, and just figured I'd give it a try :)
